Terms of service

These terms cover your use of kaal (www.kaal.info), operated by Singam Tech Inc. Using the site means you accept them. If you do not, do not sign in.

What kaal is

kaal delivers event invitations and collects responses. Each invitation is a private link sent to you by the person hosting the event; events are not listed, browsable or searchable here. The service is provided free of charge and there is nothing to buy.

Using the service

• You need a Microsoft or Google account to respond. You must use an address you control, and you are responsible for what is submitted from your signed-in session.
• An invitation link is meant for the person it was sent to. Please do not forward it to people the host has not invited.
• Do not attempt to access other people’s responses, to reach guest lists you were not given, to interfere with the service, or to submit automated traffic to it. Requests are rate-limited and abusive clients are blocked.

Hosts and guests

The host of an event chooses whom to invite and is responsible for the accuracy of the event details and for how they use the guest list. Singam Tech Inc provides the service that carries the invitation; it is not a party to the event and does not organise, endorse or vouch for it. Questions about an event belong with its host.

Availability

kaal is provided “as is” and “as available”, with no warranty of any kind. It may be unavailable, interrupted or discontinued at any time, and responses may be removed. Do not rely on it as the only record of who is attending something that matters — keep your own if the answer is important to you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Singam Tech Inc is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of kaal, including a response that fails to arrive, arrives late, or is seen by someone the host later wishes had not seen it.

Suspension

Access may be withdrawn from anyone abusing the service or these terms, without notice.

Privacy

What kaal collects and why is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

Changes

These terms may be updated; the date at the top shows when they last were. Continuing to use kaal after a change means accepting the revised terms.
